Our story began in 1998 in the beautiful city of Nicosia, Cyprus. Since then, the Aspen Trust Group has worked with corporate and private clients one-on-one and together we continue to find new and flexible business solutions to fit client’s need.

Marina Zevedeou, B.Sc. (Hons), F.C.A., is the Chief Executive Officer as well as one of the founders and the director of the group. She graduated with a BSc in Economics, Accounting, and Finance from the LSE of the University of London, U.K. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales with PWC London. She has worked with PWC in Athens and Arthur Andersen and Deloitte in Nicosia. She is a member of I.C.A.E.W., I.C.P.A.C., S.T.E.P., I.F.A., I.T.P.A.

Vivesh Pillay T.E.P., M.I.o.D., has extensive experience in the field and is now the Chief Operations Officer. Formation and administration of international business companies throughout various jurisdictions is one of his many specialities. He has worked in the banking industry in the UK and Mauritius as well as the finance division of the British Telecom PLC in London. He is a registered member of The London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF) (formerly known as The Chartered Institute of Bankers); of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP); and of The Institute of Directors (IoD) and is also very fluent in French.

The simple answer is no. Cyprus offers several easy and efficient ways to become a permanent tax resident or citizen of the country.

Options at a glance:

• Golden Visa Program: Non-EU individuals may deposit a minimum amount into a bank for three years, demonstrate proof of annual income and buy residential property to gain a visa. While in the visa program individuals are not allowed to work, but they are able to set up a business and receive tax-free dividends. Spouses and children are also eligible to gain visas.
• 60 Day Rule: Non-domiciled individuals need to stay only 60 days annually in Cyprus in order to qualify as a permanent tax resident. Non-domicile status is for those who have not previously been a Cyprus resident or national.
