The Aspen Trust Group Participates in Cyprus Presidential Delegation to India

The Aspen Trust Group is proud to announce that its CEO, Marina Zevedeou, has participated and promoted the services of the Aspen Trust Group at the Cyprus Presidential Delegation to India, which took place at the prestigious Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai on Thursday 21 May 2026.

The delegation brings together senior ministers, government officials, and representatives from more than 60 Cypriot companies, marking one of the largest business delegations ever organized by Cyprus to India.

The delegation also marked participation in key bilateral engagements, including the successful inauguration of the Eurobank India, held in the presence of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides. This milestone further strengthens economic and business ties between Cyprus, Europe, and India, building on the EU–India Free Trade Agreement framework. In addition, The Aspen Trust Group participated in a series of high-level B2B meetings with Indian and international stakeholders, further supporting cross-border collaboration and investment opportunities.

This important mission reflects the growing strategic relationship between Cyprus and India, as both countries continue to strengthen cooperation across trade, shipping, logistics, financial services, innovation, and investment.

Today, Cyprus is increasingly recognized as a trusted gateway connecting India with Europe, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean region. With the India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) gaining momentum, Cyprus is uniquely positioned to become one of India’s key strategic partners in the Mediterranean. Discussions are also underway regarding enhanced air connectivity between Cyprus and India, including a proposed direct Larnaca–New Delhi route via IndiGo. This follows the recent launch of direct connectivity between Athens and Mumbai in January 2026, further underscoring growing mobility and economic integration between Europe and India.

“India and Cyprus share a long-standing relationship built on trust, collaboration, and mutual opportunity,” said Marina Zevedeou, CEO of The Aspen Trust Group. “As global connectivity and regional cooperation continue to evolve, we see tremendous potential for deeper partnerships between our two countries across multiple sectors.”

Since 1998, The Aspen Trust Group has proudly serviced Indian clients and supported cross-border business relationships. The Group remains committed to strengthening ties between Cyprus and India while creating new opportunities for collaboration, investment, and growth.

The participation of The Aspen Trust Group in this high-level delegation reinforces the company’s ongoing commitment to international business development and strategic partnerships that support regional connectivity and economic progress.
